The "Beach Ball"

sponsored by the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce

Come out and have a great meal, enjoy a fun night of dancing and be in the running to win some great cash prizes!

3rd Annual Beach Ball
September 26, 2009
7:00pm - 11:00pm
Riverboat on the Potomac

200 tickets to be sold. They can be purchased at:

  • Beach Service Center
  • Riverboat on the Potomac
  • Chamber of Commerce office

Tickets are $150.00 per couple and that price includes dinner and dancing to the sounds of Joey and the Jammers. Play for over $9,000 in cash prizes in the Random Elimination Game. The cash Grand Prize is $5,000!

The random elimination game works like this: The longer your ball stays in play, the more you win and the better your chances are of winning the cash Grand Prize. The first ball drawn becomes the "mystery number" and it's put aside in a container until later in the game. Nobody will know what that number is.

Ball Draws 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 and 175 win $100.00. (After the mystery ball is drawn, 24 more balls are drawn. The last ball drawn of the first 25 draws - whichever number that is - will win $100.00.) Then, the next 25 balls are drawn and the 50th ball drawn wins $100.00. There will be intermissions after draws 50, 125 and 175.

Second chance drawings will take place for numbers that have not won a cash prize. Five numbers from this pool will be drawn and each will win $100.00. Then, the mystery ball gets revealed and the prize is $200.00. It then gets put back with the remaining 9 balls and becomes eligible for another prize.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Colonial Beach Historical Society, Volunteer Rescue Squad, Volunteer Fire Department and the Public Schools Education Foundation.
