30 Colonial Avenue
30 Colonial Ave. is on 1.6 acres at the end of the street on the beachfront.
The huge historic Colonial Beach Hotel once stood on a portion of this lot. It was sadly dismantled in the mid 1980s.
The red brick building we see today was constructed in 1989 and has been the home to a 60-room motel since then. The building spans 21,963 square feet.
The building along with an 80-space parking lot, patio and swimming pool make up this property on the Boardwalk. It borders Town Hill on two sides.

2010 - 2012 - Colonial Beach Inn
December 23, 2012 - present - River Edge Inn
There is an identical building in the Town of Tappahannock about an hour away. That hotel was built in 1986 and is still currently called the Days Inn.
