Bees Stained Glass
Bees Stained Glass studio is just outside of the Town limits. Here you can take classes, view her recent works or even drop off a piece for repair and restoration.
I visited this delightful shop one day to inquire about a custom made vessel sink.
There's also a small retail area where you can purchase supplies to make your own creations.
Summer & Fall 2025: Hours are currently BY APPOINTMENT ONLY due to Bees recent shoulder replacement surgeries and recovery.
Proprietor Virginia Stumpf with about 40 years of experience in this art runs the full-service studio. In 2016 she made it her full-time gig after retiring from her job with the Federal Government.
Ed Clair joined in as the business partner, co-owner and metal worker from 1990 to his passing in the summer of 2021. He made the most beautiful wire-wrapped jewelry pieces.
Look for the roadside sign. Located across from Custom T's Motorsports Park.
Classes offered include
- Alcohol Ink
- Stained Glass
- Fusing
- Mosaic and Stepping Stone
and there are periodic workshops in Repairing Leaded and Foiled Stained Glass.
You can also book studio time! 18 and up with at least one class already under your belt. Reserve a spot at the workbench and have all the tools and available for use to work on your own creation. Bring your own pattern and supplies. Glass sheets and scrap are available for purchase.
