August 20, 2016 is the date of the first annual Sirens of the Beach music festival! The event is a fundraiser for the Colonial Beach Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to beautifying the town and improving the quality of life of residents. They also run the Community Center.
The event will feature three female-fronted bands:
There will be three food trucks on site, two serving up savory morsels (Gourmeltz and Waffle Squared) and one featuring desserts.
Wines from Ingleside will be available for purchase, and beer from a Al Pugh Distributing beer truck.
The main event sponsors are Savage Law, Coldwell Banker Elite (Relda Schick), Union Bank & Trust and the Colonial Beach Foundation.
Bring the dogs! Your leashed, four-legged friends are welcome.
VIP Golf Cart Parking area spaces will be available for purchase, if you'd like to enjoy the show from up front in the comfort of you own cart.
If you don't have a cart, please remember to bring a chair.
The event will be held rain or shine on the grounds of the Community Center at the corner of Marshall and Nelson in Colonial Beach.
