A trip out to Ingleside Vineyards would make for a perfect day, sipping fine wines at their gorgeous tasting room, or in the charming courtyard next to the fountain, weather permitting. Closer to town is the Monroe Bay Winery with a tasting room on Washington Ave. and their trademark strawbale barn just off Route 205.
Enjoy a dinner at superb area restaurants such as Dockside or Los Hermanos Cantina. The Tides Inn Market and Colonial Beach Soda Fountain often offer dinner options for Valentines Day, as does Bobby K's Cafe in nearby Oak Grove. The Riverboat sometimes will hold a special Dinner & Show combination.
